Orchid Cellmark Seeks Partnerships and Investment Opportunities

Orchid Cellmark, founded in 1981, is the largest, most experienced and the only fully licensed supplier of private DNA testing services in Canada for paternity, immigration and forensic cases. The company maintains a 6,000-sq. ft. facility, handles over 10,000 individual patient samples per year and has significant capacity for expansion. We have three offices located in BC, Quebec and Ontario, from which we service an international market. Orchid Cellmark has established its dominant position in its market through progressive marketing, exploitation of its intellectual property rights and by constantly striving for superior and flawless customer service.

Orchid Cellmark is now seeking to expand its business into, but not necessarily restricted to, products and services for the health care, forensic and agriculture industries. To achieve this, Orchid Cellmark is seeking the exclusive right to market products and services for companies or institutions that have established a proprietary position or a competitive advantage. By mutual agreement, Orchid Cellmark could also undertake certain testing and production in its own laboratory. Alternatively, the company may also be interested in purchasing or making a partial investment in new technologies, provided that they are deemed to be a good fit.

Orchid Cellmark has much to offer through its presence in the legal and medical markets, the infrastructure that already exists for patient sample collection worldwide and the strong commitment to customer service. Orchid Cellmark maintains a comprehensive, coordinated marketing program that reaches a large number of professional clients, including lawyers, doctors, medical laboratories and genetic counselors. Orchid Cellmark is a well-established and well-organized company with a solid reputation that would greatly benefit prospective partners.
